How can I make sex the first time less painful for her?

Me and girlfriend are at the point in our relationship where we are ready for sex. We are both virgins, and as i have heard, it often hurts the first time for girls when having sex. What can I do to make it less painful for her? is there a way? are there certain things i can "do" to make it seem/feel not so bad? I want to allow her to enjoy it, and not have it be a bad experience.

I am a bit nervous, but i'd like to make sure she wont have any problems if possible.

ur so sweet :) just take it easy and respect her. shes gotta get the first time done with sooner or later..
